  • 2 x 150g cracked Crystal grain
  • 25g Cascade hops
  • 25g Amarillo hops (for dry hopping)
  • 11.5g Safale US-05 yeast

Brought out to 21L in Fermzilla.

The yeast has an apparent attenuation of 78-82% If that is so the final gravity should be...

   = ((1047 - 1000) * (1 - 80/100)) + 1000
   = 1009.4

  • Yeast pitched at 28C
  • Temperature set at 19C.
  • Spinding valve set to 25 PSI (IPA should have 2.1 - 2.6 volumes of CO2 which is 7-13 PSI at 4C and 22-30 PSI at 19C)
  • ABV = 1.646 * RI – 2.703 * (145 – 145 / SG) – 1.794 = 1.646 * 5.8 – 2.703 * (145 – 145 / 1.007) – 1.794 = 5.0%
