Brew Number 36

  • Grumpy's "Colonial" Mild Irish Stout
  • Grumpy's High Bittered Dark Malt Extract (34 IBUs)
  • Wyeast #1335 (British Ale II) (2st generation)

Was brought out to 19L. Yeast pitched at 29.6 degrees. Used fermenter #2.

Apparently the yeast has an apparent attenuation of 74% If that is so the final gravity should be...
FG = (SG - 1000) * (1 - AA/100) + 1000 
   = ((1054 - 1000) * (1 - 74/100)) + 1000
   = 1014.0

Notes
  • Used 200mL of the starter made on 11/9.
  • Boiled with the finishing hops for 2 minutes.
