Singapore

I had a good time in Singapore. I found the people friendly and the atmosphere cosmopolitan. After leaving Shikoku it was pretty shocking to see a racially diverse city, hear a variety of languages, and see women showing a little skin. For how small an island it is and how developed most of it is, they've kept a nice little bit set aside as a nature reserve. All of these pictures but the last one come from there. The last photo is the Raffles Hotel, which is pretty famous. It was put up during the British Colonial Days and sits in the heart of the modern ciy. Tiger beer is the local drink. It has a sort of mild honey taste. It also gave me a killer hangover, but then I probably did consume more than is recommended.
