Brew Calculator

  OG : FG :

Enter you original(starting) and final(ending) Specific Gravity readings to calculate various characteristics of your batch.

The suggested priming sugar is calculated based only on the FG and assumes you are using white cane sugar and have a 23L batch of beer. If the calculated priming value is unknown then your final gravity may be too high. The small amount of alcohol made due to priming may add around 0.3% to the final alcohol value.

The other calculations work by using sugar ratios based on the Specific gravities you provide so the volume of your wort will not affect the results.

The number of calories/kilojoules shown are an approximation for a 355ml glass of your beer.
