Brew Number 25

  • Goliath "Ewe Beauty" NZ Pale Ale
  • Coopers Light LME tin
  • Wyeat #1272 (American Ale II) from 25/12/04

Was brought out to 23L. Yeast pitched at 29.5. Used fermenter #1.

Apparently the yeast has an apparent attenuation of 74% If that is so the final gravity should be... 

FG = (SG - 1000) * (1 - AA/100) + 1000 
   = ((1045 - 1000) * (1 - 74/100)) + 1000
   = 1011.7

Notes

  • Used 200mL of the starter made 25/Dec/04, used 100mL to make another one.
  • Got 59 375mL stubbies from 22L.
  • Used 180g of priming sugar.
